  • Inside the Burnt Toast Workshop

    WORKSHOP JOURNAL / ENTRY 001

Burnt Toast began with a simple idea: take character collectibles seriously, finish them by hand and make every piece feel like it could only have been made once.

    Why the workshop exists.

Mass-produced models can be brilliant starting points, but the surface is where personality arrives. Colour temperature, shadow, texture, weathering and presentation all change the way a character reads from across a room.

That is the part Burnt Toast is built around. Each project is approached as an individual object rather than another item on a production line. Some finishes stay clean and graphic. Others become worn, cinematic or strange. The subject decides the direction.

    What you will find here.

The Workshop Journal will share pieces in progress, colour decisions, preparation, display ideas and honest notes from behind the scenes. It will also document finished one-offs before they leave for their collectors.

THE RULEMade slowly. Finished deliberately. No reruns.
